While getting free and used boxes can seem like a great idea, sometimes they will come with pests – especially boxes that once held food.
Used boxes will often be weakened by previous use, their corners bent or crushed and therefore not giving you all the protection you think.
Also, used boxes are typically not usual sizes or thickness because they weren’t originally intended to pack your stereo or dishes, they were used to ship toilet paper or lettuce.
