My Moving Experience – Move Analyst

I started my moving and storage career experience at California Moving and Storage, Allied Van Lines in Van Nuys, California in the late 1980s as a very young mover helper. Through long hours, a lot of sweat, a few mistakes and their lessons, I was promoted to a local driver.

As many movers in the industry do, I moved around from agent to agent and moving company to moving company. I moved for Allied Van Lines, Atlas Van Lines, Global Van Lines, Mayflower Transit, United Van Lines as well as many local moving companies as a driver, helper, packer, warehouseman and salesman. It was and is a time and experience I will always treasure.

Through my moving and storage career I found my wife of more than 30 years, life-long friends and colleagues, man’s best friend, wonderful treasures, stories and experiences that could fill a library full of diaries.

After taking some time off to raise my family I came back more mature and driven than ever. I also realized something very profound; I am in this business to help people transition through whatever experience it is that is moving them – a new job, a job loss, a marriage, baby, empty-nesters, grandkids, retirement, divorce or death of a spouse, parent or other loved one.

The high and the low experiences of life move us all and I want to be there for you sharing my expertise, care and concern for your wellbeing at a time of tremendous vulnerability.

Thank you for this opportunity to earn your trust and business. I genuinely appreciate it.
